California Superbike School. Has anyone taken ANY of their classes? Any thoughts, feedback?

I was thinking of doing their 1st level since I have never been on a track.

If you went, did you use their bike and gear or brought your own?

1st level just gets your appetite wet to take the 2nd level. If you can swing it I would do a 2 day school and take first and second level in succession. Highly recommened by ME :-) I've never heard of anybody being dissapointed with a Keith Code school.

This is good to hear, as I was seriously contemplating taking one of these schools. I will probably try to swing the two day school next year. I will be riding one of their bikes though, as I don't want to toss mine down the track just yet.

Yeah, guess I'll do the 2 day class too. 2250 is a bit, but then again, getting a bike track ready, gear and everything will probably run more than I want to think about, then again, dropping the bike would suck too...

Guys, Level 1 is mainly all about throttle control, even though you get 5-6 sessions on the track, it's not like a track day, they actually slow you down and start from the basics.. like 3rd gear and no brakes to teach you throttle control.. personally, i found it better to take my own bikes, as they're what i ride all the time anyway...

The upside to taking your own bike is there's less distraction because you're on a machine that's familiar & comfortable to you.

I have taken level 1&2 as well, and highly recommend it. Same day other guys from our local club were taking 3 and 4, and those seemed to be much more fun.
