Superbad - Such An Apt Title

sup home slice?

Rented this on Saturday... erm, I would have to say it is one of the worst films I have ever seen, and I've seen Johnny English. Oh Lord, the trailer made it look good, but I didn't laugh once, not even smile. The lead character is the most annoying in film history. How in the hell did this steaming pile of dog-shit ever get made?

And why did they use the 70's Columbia logo at the start as if it was a 70's movie. It wasn't!

Am I the only one that didn't get this film? I really wanna see Walk Hard because the ad makes it look really funny, just like Superbad, but it's made by the same people, so I immediately feel aprehensive. I don't wanna be let down again!

Paddy :D

I'm suprised you were expecting it to be funny. It does not look even remotely funny.

The joke about his name? Mc Lovin? Is that supposed to be funny?

Thank you, Paddy.

I was beginning to think that I was the only one who thought this film was utter drivel and a nadir in modern film comedy.

'McLovin'....oh,ho-f***ing-ho....is this the best comedy Hollywood can produce these days?...

I agree, this film was not funny AT ALL!
A shame really because it had a bit of hype about it.
Absolutely loved Knocked Up though, which is what made me want to see this one.

I dunno, I thought it was better than a lot of other "comedy" drivel I've seen over the past few years...

It was by no means a masterpiece, but hey, I had a few giggles - I've rented a lot worse (and I mean a LOT worse).

I loved it. I saw it at the cinema and my jaw ached from laughing. The rest of the cinema audience seemed to enjoy it too.

I'm going to buy it on Blu-ray! I just hope it is still funny whilst watching in the calm environment of my house - often things can seem funnier at the cinema when there's a good atmosphere.

I watched this last night and I was a bit disappointed, only laughed a few times. I was getting peed off with the cops - they ruined the film for me! So stupid, so unnecessary, not even remotely funny, just thick. Are we just supposed to laugh at police officers doing the complete opposite of what they're supposed to? Was just plain dumb and annoying. Loved McLovin and the fat guy though.

The owner of the local video shop got them in on Saturday but wasn't supposed to put it on the shelf until Monday. He didn't have a problem letting me have a copy early, and I didn't have a problem taking it, thinking it was a good movie and all.

I can't believe I wasted

Saw this last weekend, as I'd had a few people recommend it. Oh dear.

Total garbage, didn't laugh at all. Humour for 15 year olRAB. The characters didn't have anything of substance to say, so they just swore a lot. How clever.

I'm surprised by the reaction on here.

I saw it at a packed out cinema with people absolutely p*ssing themselves laughing.

Even on 3rd and 4th viewings I found it hilarious.

Love the cops, Seth Rogen is a legend, as is McLovin.
