Superbad Appreciation

bahahahah This movie was fantastic.

Im not really into "sex" type movies because for the most part they are so awkward and they make me feel uncomfortable watchin with my family or guy friends or whtaever, but this movie was hilarious because they were all younger kids so it felt more relateable.

I cant remember any lines now, but some of my favorite parts were when they get off the bus and they see mclovin in his vest and you can see the main guy lip "what the f__!" haha its so hilarious. Or when the cops are shooting at the sign and they hear the siren and their like "omg its the cops!" lmao. or when the main guys are on the field and that kid that peed his pants comes over and says something like "that was like 5 years ago a hole!" and the other dudes like "people dont forget!" haha.
 
Why is this thread not filled with people obsessing???? It was awesome! Seth Rogan did a great job writing/directing, Judd Apatow producing, and Michael Cera/Jonah hill acting. Funniest people ever!!
 
Superbad is great...my two favorite parts is the bar scenes...the cops calling for help on the walkie in the background and he turns it down to continue with what he is saying while drinking his beer..."help" lol so funny and also when Jonah Hill falls face first and cracks that girl in her nose..lol funny.
 
saw this movie again...really funny and like most apatow films is...deeper i suppose than the previews made it out
 
Yeah, Superbad is really hilarious! Many are comparing it with The American Pie... I think both are great and funny...
 
so im debating whether to see this or not but im scared its crass humour...i dont like that
 
I love the one played by Bill Hader. When he's dancing to that "...don't trust the police..." rap song :lol: .
 
I love Michael Cera. He plays the awkward teen SO WELL!

Although Christopher, who plays McLovin, made the movie for me. Shicka Shicka! :lmao:
 
Its better than American Pie IMO in that they dont need outrageous scenes like the pie or the super glue to make the movie great.

i didnt find knocked up that funny, superbad was hilarious though.... definitely gonna get it on dvd.
 
I think this movie outdid American Pie...it was alot more honest and humorous. And man, Michael Cera was awesome! Loved him in AD, but loved him more in this movie. :nod:

This is THE funniest movie of the summer! It's basically American Pie meets Harold & Kumar IMO. Go see it NOW! :D

Lol, yeah the whole movie was hilarious.
I think my favorite part has to be when he was on the ground and just got up and started running. I don't know but that part cracked me up.
Now I'm trying to find screencaptures of that part so I can make an animated icon.
That would be awesome.
Tried looking for some but no luck.

That is his thread at the male celebrities board. It hasn't been posted on in awhile. I might have to check it out, cause I do love him so and he owned this movie. I'll never stop laughing at him singing "These Eyes." Such a classic moment.

And I adore this movie. I've seen it about fifty times and I still cry from laughing so hard. The cops were twisted enough to be my heroes, which is disturbing on so many levels.

And the Seth's little fetish as a child flashback story was hilarious.
