Super Size Me

I thought it was very good. It showed that even doctors were unaware of the long-term efffects of consuming a lot of fast food. I know people don't eat it everyday, but it's worth questioning ourselves when it comes to children's health. I'm sure that now I've seen it I wouldn't want a child of mine to visit a fast food restaurant very often. It made me realise the importance of your body growing through the formative years, and I think it's good to make people sit up and take note, even if it was done in a dramatic way.
The doctors didn't predict that his liver would be the same as an alcoholic's, yet that's what happened. Food for thought....

I am not too keen on the "film"

1) eat anything non stop for 30 days and you WILL feel sick.
2) I find the guy quite smug and irritating.
3) I love my BIG MAC meal especially during the football season when you buy a meal and get one free and I am still a reasonable size 8!

Yesterday, the spurlock guy was on BBC's fat nation and he claimed the MacdonalRAB don't provide nutrition information for their meals but, I know for a fact that they do because I have got too many of them at home with me. I think he just had a vandetta against MacdonalRAB because fine, he made the documentary about macdonalRAB meals but, when he is explaining stuff about fast food to people he can generalise and share the blame amongst all the other fast food chains but he refuses to do this. Does this mean that eating meals from KFC or Bruger King everyday for 30 days has no harmful effect on anyone?

The reason the guy made this docu, was a group of people in the states, decided to sue McdonalRAB. The reason being that it made them "FAT". This was made for the american public, as it is the fattest in the world.

Plus I know this from personal experince, that a high percentage of americans, visit fast food resturants twice a day. With them mainly being either Mcdonald, Burger King, Wendys, Taco Bell (Mexican food) or KFC. This is due to if they want a drink, they buy a drink, and they are able to get free refills. So its cheaper than buying a can from a vending machine. I thought that the fast food resturants, would have used that ploy over here (UK) by now to keep attracting the diwinling customers.

So that is why its about McdonalRAB, plus it is the most popular among kiRAB in the states, due to giving away toys, and them having playgrounRAB. Unlike any of the other fast food outlets.

Watched the movie last night. As a documentary I must say that I enjoyed it. He did look rather similar to the MILF guy (guys will know who I mean). Are they related?? ;)
