Super Channel free preview

I just noticed SCHD1 and SCHD2 in the guide saying free preview until May 30. But Super Channel 1-4 are still red in the guide. Is the free preview for the HD channels only?
 
Super Channel really sucks, I'm surprised anyone pays money for it. We need some high quality moves in HD, not this garbage.
 
This is actually a very nice addition to the channel line up. If your a movie channel lover you'll definatly like this movie package on top of your existing one.
 
Are you sure about that? My receiver seems to identify the sound as Dolby Digital?
 
Its worthy of a free preview . To keep it after that would encourage mediocrity, of which we have tons.
 
A lot of HD movies are not in DD5.1, just DD2.0. This is usually the fault of the studios, not the broadcaster. That's the way most studios distribute HD movies in Canada.
 
who would pay for this channel? I went through the 7 day schedule and only one movie on there that i would watch and i already have the dvd for that movie.
 
Same here... There are around 2-3 movies that would be watchable on a month; they repeat them at least 2 times a day during the month as well. Not worth ot to pay for it IMHO. I do like the quality of the HD feed though.
 
Right now there definately isn't a lot in the movie department. They do however have a lot of series and concerts. Plus it looks like they are going to be carrying some boxing. Once they start airing FOX movies, that will improve the schedule quite a bit.

The thing I like best about Super Channel are the Series. Some of them however, seem to be in repeats. Good for catching some of the ones I missed at launch in November I suppose...
