My memories of Sunday tea-time...........

Worzel Gummidge
The Ghosts of Motley Hall
Black Beauty
The Golden Shot
Bullseye
Catweazle

I can also remember a show which I think was a quiz show similar to whats my line, think it was set in a classroom though in the late 80s early 90s, I think Toyah wilcox was involved.

I can remember watching that

In the early 90s, Channel 4 showed Gophers and also the Miracleous mellops, sorry for the spelling

My memory of this has nothing to do with Sunday TV. I can vividly remember watching it in an English class and the teacher's face turned beet red when Jenny got her tits out.

I can remember Mothers ruin with Roy Barraclough, it had Dora Bryan in as well and also his assistant was called Brucella Pashley who was a bit of a geek

''It's Leslie's 50th birthday party and Kitty attempts to scupper his relationship with Wendy Watson.''

Leslie Roy Barraclough
Kitty Flitcroft Dora Bryan
Wendy Watson Kay ARABhead
Brucella Pashley Julia Dean

In the late 80's I remember Worzel Gummage being on late morning and The Waltons following it on Channel 4.

Was super gran on a Sunday?

Before songs of praise, there was a programme called Highway, with Harry secombe.
I think he used to sing on it. Someone once sang Memory from Cats on it, it could have been Elaine Paige for all I know, but I know someone sung it on that show and my mum loved it.
There was always stain glass windows shown on it.
It's about all I remember lol

My dad used to watch it every week, no one was allowed to talk when it was on, I'm not quite sure why because he wasn't really religious, but he used to want to watch Harry Secombe every week. I was shocked when I found out much later on he was Mr Bumble in Oliver

Bullseye used to come on after it, I think, which we all watched as a family.

I think thats why I remember Highway because I wanted it to be bloody over so Bullseye would come on quicker.

I remember Through the Keyhole being on as well on a Sunday.

I loved The Clothes Show (Carolyn Franklyn and Jeff Banks - I think) and Ski Sunday during the winter months :) more for the theme tune than the skiing
