summer fling? or the real thing?

okay so this guy and i we have been great friends for a while. this year was a bit off cause we developed some sort of feelings for each other. recently, we've been hanging out just the two of us in his car. I asked him what this all means and he was really honest with me and went through the whole year and how he felt. He said he was busy then, but now since its summer he thinks its worth giving it a shot. We've been keeping our hangouts on the DL, and he said if we do get together, he won't tell his friends. I am excited cause i really like him, but i dont want to be a summer hook up. I asked him what happens when summer is over and he said "we'll see and go from there" what does that mean!??! should i go for it? or do you think its just a hookup situation?
 
It's definitely questionable, and if I were you, I wouldn't get too emotionally attached. But that's just me. Sounds like he's looking to genuinely get to know you but what happens when summer's over and he starts to get busy again? Don't bother asking him this because he will tell you what you want to hear. All guys do it. So I'd say just keep it light at first and don't get to emotionally invested in this relationship. Or maybe try just going out on dates and not having the boyfriend/girlfriend title until you're both ready to commit for real. Be careful darling and remember to guard your heart :)

Well I would say it's the real thing since you say he was really honest with you about his feelings throughout the whole year. But him hiding you from his friends is NOT a good sign. Just be careful.
