Hi,
Service Provider
----------------
I am ready for a phone upgrade (NE2 with Verizon). Since I go hiking a lot, I have always placed coverage high on my priority and stayed with Verizon. If that is an invalid argument, please educate me.
Cellphone
----------
I have owned the VX6000 (that I was very happy with) and now have the V710 (which I do not like). I use it primarily as a phone. So, the bells and whistles that they have nowadays are lower on my priority list.
My parameters:
1. Voice/conversation quality, signal reception quality.
2. Small - want to slip it into my pocket.
3. Standby/conversation time, battery life
4. Not too costly for hi-tech features - I use the camera on my current one as a toy. Would not miss it. I use the alarm on it a lot and the Text Messaging, but aside from that it is my phone.
5. Do make calls while driving, so features that would help that are useful.
6. Brand - not picky. But have been happy with LG and would not mind trying a Nokia either. Motorola has disappointed.
Here are the phones I am considering (from my limited knowledge): LG VX3400, Nokia 2125i/2126i/2128i, Nokia 6235i/6236i
V325 was suggested by a user, but it is overpriced. The 8300 is still free with NE2.
Suggestions/advice are much appreciated!
Thanks,
Sharad
