Prescription nasal sprays are designed to work better for you allergy symptoms that over the counter sudafed. Sudafed can make your symptoms worse and cause your nose to be dependent on it. My doctor told me this when I was first diagnosed with allergies. Sudafed is ok for 5 days if you are stuffy due to a cold, but you should toss it out after. I use Prescription Nasacourt and it seems to work well with my oral allergy medicine. It can dry out your nose though so some Saline spray is good too.
