suddenley my car wont start..ford mondeo automatic?

my ford mondeo automatic wont start...there has been no problem untill this morning..when i turn the ignition on there is just nothing..not a single noise...its not the battery as radio and wipers work. i have put water and oil in as the dip stick showed very little oil...but still nothing...any idea's..its about 10yrs old but has been running great with no problems...thank you
 
if it honestly makes NO noises at ALL, check on your ecu to make sure it hasn't somehow gone missing or shaken loose.

if any noises are made at all, make sure its in park, and that the wiring to your starter isn't shorted out.

also, there is a chance that your ignition switch make be shorting out or broken.
