I am 18 and have had my period since i was about 13. Typically i can tell down to the exact date when my period is going to start, and its always the same exact cycle. For the past two months though, i started out with a week and a half long period (they usually only last five days on the dot) and the bleeding has been frighteningly heavy. Also i usually got cramps pretty bad but nothing like they were with that month! They woke me up in tears and wrenching pain. Then i had a lot of spotting for two weeks and started yet another long heavy period. Has anyone else been through this and it was nothing. I don't want to blow a bunch of money at the doctors for him to tell me it's normal so can anyone help? I appreciate it and please be mature if not don't bother answering.
