...my knee - what could cause this? I started walking and had a sudden pain in my left hip (very sharp pain) going down my left leg to the left back of my knee. The pain was so intense I had to stop walking immediately, I finally made it back to my desk and almost fainted from the pain. It feels better now that I am sitting again - I am only 24 years old and in excellent shape (work out several times a week) what could be happening? Do I need to contact a doctor?
Not sure that it matters, all I've done today is sit at my computer desk at work with minimal walking. I try to sit up straight (consciously) and move a lot sometimes sitting with my legs up in my chair or straight out in front of me because it's hard to sit still 8 hours a day.
Apparently I'm not high enough level to give anyone a 'thumbs up' yet... the Sciatica Diagnosis sounds pretty accurate, and I guess I will just go home and try the home remedies and hope it doesn't happen again the scary thing is not being sure what caused it because I would hate for it to happen again. It's pretty embarrassing when you're in the main hallway of your office building and suddenly can't move!
