Sudden numbness

I have mentioned this to my specialist who is working on figuring whats wrong with me. I noticed like in bed when laying my on right side, that side went numb. Not the usual tingling but like completely numb. Then we took a 4-5 hour car trip and at the beginning my left leg went completely numb and when we got to our place it was still numb for another while.

Now for the last two weeks or so, when i get in the shower my lips go numb instantly and stay numb until i get out. My showers are very luke warm, not to hot or to cold. Nothing is on my face that would be making my lips go numb to.

My friend said her mom had face numbness and had a tumor.

Any ideas?
 
I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions for your numbness, but please don't let your friend's Mum's diagnosis scare you, that's very unlikely to be the cause. I hope you get some answers soon.
 
Im not scared, i just have a lot of other illness' and so this added to it has been weird. My lips i can move still, and my leg i can but my toes also go really numb and get bright red and then i cant move them.

Otherwise anything else i can still move.
My mom should be calling the doctor tomorrow
once she finds out if i have insurance still
otherwise this is all going to have to wait.
