Successfully unlock iphone 3g os 4.0.1

upgrade your iphone to os4.0.1 then jail break with redsnow v0.9.5b-5

while jailbreaking u have to select os4.0

after jailbreak u can unlock your iphone with ultrasnow.

its working tested...this is tested solution only for iphone 3g

OR YOU ARE USING 3gs [WHICH NOT WORK ON REDSN0W OR ANYTHING YET]

and its iphone3g not 3gs

a1241 model u know thats 3g

a1301 its 3gs

use redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-5 it will works following ae the link for redsnow

tested this method on my iphone 3G and it worked like a charm.

You have to remember to point redsnow to version 4.0 though not 4.0.1
