I have 2 12" Kicker Comp C 12. I can't seem to find anything about them on the internet. i got them as a replacement subs a long while back. Every time i look on the internet for them i see the correct name, but the picture of the sub is not the same as mine. anyways i think they are 300 watts/150rms each. i thinking about buying a hifonics brutus amp 1200 watts. My subs on the back say 8 ohms, do i need to have them wired at 8 ohms because i want to wire them to my amp to 4ohms because i would get 450watts out of my amp. i am also looking to get a 12inch sealed box. How would this setup sound. is the amp a little to much power for these subs. it going to cost me around $250(because i got the subs free.) would i be better off buying a used setup off of craigslist?
