My car is a lancer gli and it only has a cassette stereo system. At home I have a home theatre audio set which include a subwoofer and 4 speakers. Is it possible to connect my normal subwoofer to the car stereo? I use my ipod car kit to play music in it and i want good base and everything.

Just buy a cd player, car audio subwoofer(s), and a amplifier. Its not easy or worth it too hook a house sub to a stock stereo.

by the way its spelled bass, not base.

yeah man i have to agree with the guy above me, you can do car subs to your house pretty easy but wiring that for the car would be confusing as well as time consumng you would be much happier with just a cheap system

The way that the voltage works, it would be very hard to power that subwoofer from a car battery. It would probably cost more in all the converting wires and hardware and amps then to just go buy a car subwoofer.
