i have two 12' subs in a box i have an 1000 watt amp and a new stereo. I was wondering what else i needed in order to plug the subs into my car.? like do I need an amp wiring kit, or stereo wires?
An amp wiring kit will have everything you need (Power, ground, turn on lead, RCA's, speaker wire) I think you need 2 gauge or better wiring. This is all assuming your stereo is already hooked up.
You will need an input to your amp (preferably RCAs), main power and ground for the amp (you want these to be the same guage), a trigger wire from the stereo to you amp, and speaker wires from amp to box.
