I currently have a pair of 4x6 Infinity Kappa plate speakers and a pair of 6x9 Infinity Kappa 3 way speakers.
What would be a subwoofer that people would recommend? I want loud but I also want it to sound good with rock/r&b/rap music.
I've heard great things about the JLw7 and the Boston Acoustics G5, but I'm not leaning towards anything as of yet.
plan about 500-800 watts rms through them. i also plan to have about 200 watts of headroom so i dont blow the subs.
to clarify, i want the amp to be about 1000 watts rms and the subs to be about 1000 watts rms. i plan on pushing less power through them than that to keep them going strong for longer.
budget is anywhere from 600 to 1000 for subs, enclosure, and amp
