subs sound like shit?

92 honda accord 4 door..2 15 inch alpine subs in sealed separate box wit a 1000 watt mono alphasonik amp...when it faces da trunk,,it sound goooooood but when i face it inside dar car,,it sounds bad...any help?????????????????
 
Your subs should always face the outside not towards the inside. You want your trunk to be a bigger box for the sounds coming from the speakers. You get more base that way. And it will be much clearer. Also, you should be able to adjust the amount of base on the amp. There's usually a little screw you can turn. Just gotta mess with it a lil bit. Good luck!
