Subs or Dubs?!?

Wrong. The majority of people watch subs because they are out. It takes a while for anime to get dubbed. I honestly don't understand why some people say anime is purely japanese culture and by watching it you are experiencing that culture. Really now?

Oh I don't think that Anime is purely japanese culture
but there are alot of anime freaks who believe anime=japan and by watching subs they are experiencing the culture.

If you read some of the replies they say things like "Oh I want to watch it the way it was meant to be which is the way of the japanese" most of those people won't even watch a dub even if it is 10x better than the original.

For instance Yu Yu Hakusho, the Funi dub outshined the original
people know it in their hearts but will never admit it, also Baccano
I don't get how the original could have been better when the japanese can't do the accents correctly, this is freaking 1930 New York.

The ones that blows my mind are Cowboy Bebop and Your Under Arrest
even if they like the sub better atleast admit the dub was great and they both were, Steve Blum embodied Spike's Swagger and the japanese creator made his japanese voice cast watch the english version of "Your Under Arrest" to get the voices on point.

as I've said in every thread on every forum I've been to that has this question, I choose both, I have no particular preference, a lot of people accuse American voice actors of being terrible while they treat the Japanese ones like gods, the Japanese actors can have just as many flaws as the American ones and both can do good acting as well. In my opinion it's because some people are too picky about the way they watch their anime, as for me, if I like what I see, I'll watch it plain & simple, I don't care what language.

Baccano's Japanese track is so excellent.
It has this guy for crying out loud.

(Keiji Fujiwara plays the killer in the white suit).

Not to mention Isaac and Miria's performances.

So what??

The dub had the accents on point, it's kind of awkward watching something about 1930's New York with japanese VA.

Maybe the sub is okay, but the Dub owned it.
