Subs or Dubs?!?

Exactly. In this day and age dubs are by far have gone along way. If you look at Funimation many of thier dubs even surpass the original (especially Fullmetal Alchemist)

For me, it really depends.

I mean, I hate some dubs, because CCS was practically ruined when it was dubbed by Disney.

It really depends. I prefer watching my favorites in Japanese.

Mostly subs. Usually I speed read to get a general idea when watching. Dubs are usually horrid { Love Hina, CCS, Naruto, Elfen Lied etc. } I do like a few though.

Its rare to find good Dubs, i enjoyed Cowboy Bebop and Yu Yu Hakusho dubbed but other then that i haven't found to many good dubs. I prefer subs, the voices sound much better.

FLCL had decent dubs. So did Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop. Other than that, Subs all the way. I like to hear to voice it was meant to be in.

I don't speak enough japanese to really get into the subs. Plus the characters seem less real when they don't have voices I understand. You know? I can't really seem to relate as well when they speak english> Plus most Japanese voice actors are either too deep or high pitched.

i do like both. its true some of the Japanese voices annoy me but sometimes when the get translated some of the funny jokes and comments dont work that well plus sometimes the dubbed voices are worse than the Japanese voices. i guess you gotta take the good with the bad

I prefer subs over dubs because the voices they use for dubs always annoy the hell out of me. I'd rather read what they're saying in English, and besides, Japanese sounds cool

I would have to say dubs but i usually end up watching subs even though they sound the same and it gets somewhat confusing you don't ever have to be embarrassed by the way a charter sounds in subs but dubs on the other hand a voice of a main character can ruin the whole series.

Perfect Example Ouran high host club sub is great bud extremely had to watch it's hardly bearable.

I chose subs before because in a lot of animes, the filter out some of the weird Japanese, but a lot of times that gives anime their essence, because in fact they are JAPANESE.
Also, most of the voice actors don't sound as good as the original in dubs. Personally, I read fast, so I don't miss much important.

haha, true for me at times. I just can't get into subs all that much. And there are times when the voices start to irritate me(School girls ones especially)

I just prefer dubs, no specific reason other than personaly preference. Also I'm a big fan of some english VA for anime, so whenever I do watch a series, if a dub is avalable then I switch to that.
