Subs or Dubs?!?

Wait, you're trying to tell me that subbing loses more meaning than dubbing?

The same dubbing where they have to time it to the lip movements and consequently have to change phrasing and wording?

The same dubbing that often has to localise the phrasing and sometimes even changes a characters personality?

Etc.

Can you even understand Japanese anyway?

OK. What moron resurrected this stupid thread?

However - to those who picked "Sub" - would you buy (or try to read) authentic manga in ORIGINAL JAPANESE TEXT?!

Im not very good at getting my point across it seems, It's just some anime suits dubbing more and easier to understand like Bleach, and some anime shouldn't be dubbed, like chobits. Subbing is good but some translations do suck, i hated one translation groups work on bleach, even through it was popular.

OffTopic: Hmm, why leave posts that are two years old open? if you don't want it to be revieved?

There is really been a few rare series in which the dub has actually been better than the original Japanese. A couple of the more well known successful dubs are Cowboy Bebop and also You're Under Arrest! When the original director gives high praises to the dubs and also uses the English dubbed on how it's done correctly, then you can't get any better compliment than that. And I agree, most dubs (both past and present) are bad and aren't worth the recordings.
