Subs or Dubs?!?

Wow, this is a cool thread idea, something I've yet to see on an anime forum

Try watching something with fast dialog like Detroit Metal City lol. I prefer subs, but when I watch with my girlfriend I think I almost prefer dubs because she can't read for crap so I'm having to constantly answer "what did they say??" questions hehe.

I read fast enough that I can get the dialog and take in the scene itself. Thank God I grew up addicted to reading books, hehe, it's paying off now

I whole-heartedly support subs over dubs! The voices generally fit the characters much better and if it's a long anime (ex. DBZ or Sailor Moon) the japanese voice actors usually stick with it throughout the series without having to find a new voice. Case end point, I think the english dub of the entire Sailor Moon series had like12 voice actors for Usagi and they were all so wrong for her!!

Japanese voice actors are better then their American counterparts across the board.
