with the volume semi low try switching the wires like the others said. that way you can tell if there is a difference right away. if this doesn't work, then you may have partially blown the sub somehow but i doubt that. mark your wires next time.

i got two 10" PG subs in my car. they shake my car when i turn it up. now today i attempted to hook up the LED lighting the sub has on it(its a blue led ring on the sub)...but sadly it didnt work. i only tryed it on 1 sub...so the other sub i didnt unscrew from my box. so i screwed back the other sub and reconnected the rca cables and now my subs arent loud anymore. they are hitting hard still. but its not shaking my car, like i c the excursion but i am not feeling it...i barley feel the bass.. what could be the problem? ground issues?....the only thing i disconnected was 6x9s with the shelf so i could maneuver the box. i got a video of my setup here:

also the power cable feel out so i put that back in.

thanks

yea that happened to me before switch the positive and negative cable goining into your sub

make sure that all the speakers that were disconnected were reconnected with + to + and - to -. even if one speaker is reversed it could cause a cancellation wave in the lower frequency creating the effect you are experiencing
