Im prolly going to get reamed for this but here it goes. I quit full opiate agonists about a year ago when I got on suboxone. I quickly realized that I was addicted to the needle. After about a week of taking suboxone as directed I began to shoot it. Upping my dosage as I went along. I have been suboxone free and have thrown all my needles away. It has been a week since my last dose and no withdrawal. Actually a little over a week. Is it possible, that I kind of mind over mattered my drug withdrawal while I was shooting it back a year ago, and not having withdrawals because the naloxone in the suboxone has been keeping my receptors clean of opiates for the last year. Any insight into this would be great. Can you withdraw from suboxone if you have been shooting it, I guess is my question.

I guess I'm alone on this one. If you read this, please say a prayer for me that I inadvertantly managed to miss the storm of WD. Thank you.

about 3 years ago I quit the full opiates, been on suboxone since. Sry I lose my sense of time with this if i dont think about it.

WOW!!!!

Still no W/D? That is insane!!! I have never heard of anyone getting off sub with no w/d. You are one lucky person!

Keep on keeping on! You can do this and live a happy sober life with the drugs or needles. I am working on that too right now. We are all in this together so hang in there!

Blessings and prayers!

Thanks, but they finally hit on day 5 of no suboxone. Im starting day 2 or 3. I cant keep track with the insomnia. I hope i weaned down far enough that it wont last long.
