Suboxone and Oxycontin - same day?

I would like to know if someone takes 8 mg of suboxone in the morning and takes 4 mg at around 11 p.m., what the effects would be if they did oxycontin in the early evening. The reason for my question is that I am a mom of a 23 yr. who I want to believe is recovering from oxycontin, but I'm not sure. Also, could someone tell me how long it takes for the suboxone to fully dissolve under the tongue? Can it take a while? Thanks for your help.
 
if you did oxycontin the same day as taking 12 mg of suboxone, you wouldn't feel anything from the oxycontin. It'd be just like you hadn't taken any at all, and it would be like that for at least 3-4 days probably with that amount of sub. It takes about 20 minutes to fully dissolve an 8 mg pill of suboxone.
