i used to have a 2001 fiesta and had a good set up in there i went all out pioneer, up front i had a 4 X 50 watts head unit left the standard front speakers in got some adaptors fro the rear Speakers so i could run a pair of 360 watt 6x9's and mounted them on the rear shelf.
in the boot i had 1000watt 12" sub and a 800watt amp it sounded wicked and could set car alarms off in car parks.

as for where to buy check out halfords to start with they normally have some ex display stock or last seasons stock going for really cheap or check out bass junkies they always have good deals on there for head unit speakers and sub deals

I am looking to buy a sub for my ford fiesta 1.3 flight (2001) and am not sure where to look or what to look at. Could anyone give me some advice on what sub to get as i am not too good with things like this???

Well, if you are looking for the same kind of car, then the new Fiesta 2009 is a great little car, well built, great fun, and at a reasonable price. If you're looking for something a little different but within the smae price range, there are many different options, Volkswagen Polo, Renault Twingo, Renault Clio, Peugeot 208, Mercedes A class. There are so many different cars in that range, but if it was my Choice, i'd go for the VW Polo, well built, german built to be exact.
