so last week i had my 10" kicker l5 2ohm(my mistake) and kicker zx500.1 mono amp( the birth sheet said it was at 640 watts) installed at bestbuy. last night the sub blew when the bass contoller was at 1 and the volume was prolly half way and it blew. i looked at my amp setting and everything was turned up. my sub since it was 2ohm i could only have it push out 225 watts. so bestbuy pretty much screwed me.
My new question is i want to buy a 10" kicker l7 would my amp which the birth sheet says 640 watts would be enough to push the sub. any advice would be greatful thanks.
