i have a alpine mrp 500 amp 500 watts rms 1000 watts peak now i want to get a 10 in rock ford P3 which is rated at 400 rms 800 max any body have a simular set up i dont want to blow out this sub
The Alpine amp is rated 300watts RMS @4ohms. The 10in P3 is 300watt RMS Single voice coil 4ohm sub. Take the sub and wire it hot of sub to hot to amp and same with the neg, i attached a website with the wiring configs to show you. This way it will be evenky matched. That is a very nice match. That will sound good in the correct box.
