Well, I TORE it, not TOUR it!

Headed to Sturgis next Wednesday. I tore my MCL 2 weeks ago. They put me in a brace from pelvis to ankle for 4 weeks, locked straight. They called it a "stretch" and it went under my kneecap. Can walk around pretty good on it with the brace, but been using the crutch to really keep off it. Leaving for Sturgis next week...that will be almost 4 wks since I did it. I've riden 3 times so far with the brace on and can ride without any discomfort. I stretch out on the pegs anyways so my leg is not bent while riding.

Anyways, murphy's law right!

Spending 2 nights in Keystone then off on a 7 day road trip to Buffalo, WY, Jackson Hole, WY (spending 2 nights there) past the Tetons through Yellowstone up to Red Lodge, Mt. From there we'll head over to Cooke City and down Cheif Joseph Highway to Cody, WY. Spending another day off in Cody and then finally from Cody, back to Keystone to fly out the next day. It's about 1500 miles or so for the whole trip. Can't wait to go. Bike is ready and just hoping that I am in too.

Thanks...I figure if after the first day I start to sore up, we can just site see around there...but I think I'll be fine.

Love the colors of your bike !

Thursday night will be spent in Chamberlain, We rally camp it at Rush-no-more, but my son wants a little more excitement.
You guys all have a safe rally

Hope you all made it back safely. Had a great trip. MCL didn't bother me at all. Only have 1 word for the Tetons..>AMAZING!

Saw some really great sites. Next year we'll be doing a different route, maybe from Colorado. Did 2000 miles over the course of the 6 days out there. Last day from Cody to Keystone was 430 miles. Long day but wouldn't have wanted to be on any other bike other than my RG!!
