Stupid weather

Don't you hate the weather sometimes. Well this weekend I really hated it.

On Friday there was a storm that came to town. It really didn't seem like it was going to be that bad. So me and a couple of my friends deside to hangout that night and watch the storm, but we soon noticed that it was a massive storm. The wind was so strong that it knocked down my basketball hoop and landed on my friends windshield and shattered it. And soon after, all the power goes out. So we light a few candles and deside to start drinking while we wait for the power to be restored. As hours passed it started to heat up in the house and we just called it a night. When we woke up we noticed that the wind knocked down 10 power line poles down the street. So we go off looking for somewhere we can stay untill the power came back on. Noone would take us in. So we had no other choice but too come back to the house and wait. WE WAITED FOR 2 DAYS! The power just came back on a few hours ago. And I'm lovin' every second of it. :)

Mother nature can be a real bitch sometimes.
 
The hurricane that tore through here a few weeks ago was bad enough to flood every street, and the wind knocked down a few tree's. I lost cable for the beginning of the day, and power flashed on and off most of the day, but that was it.

And then there is another hurricane coming right for me again. Yeah, the weather sucks.
 
Uhhh... I usually have shit to do during the day. It's the late afternoon and early evening that I'm looking for something to entertain me, so normally the only times I read, I need artificial light.
 
Mmm I see... but still we're in summer you have some daylight hours to spare.
And candle light is not that bad... you can always make a camp fire. (or have a spare reading thingy small lamp on your bedside)
