Black History Month.

Pretty sure the Bible says it's a sin to be black, or something.

Another entry for today. Geez, it isn't even noon yet.

Still, do you deny his credibility? Do you question the facts as he outlined them?
I guess I have to deny his credibility because he never bothered to write a correction AFAIK:

"Text: Final Report of the Independent Counsel in Regards to the Whitewater Investigation

Robert W. Ray
Independent Counsel

January 5, 2001

VOLUME III. -- WASHINGTON, D.C. INVESTIGATION
Part E -- The Discovery and Removal of Documents from Vincent W. Foster Jr.'s Office"

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/onpolitics/transcripts/whitewater_032002.html
Both circumstantial evidence (principally phone records and entry and exit logs) and testimonial evidence exist to create the inference that some people might have endeavored to tamper with 316 documents in Foster's office, or counseled others to do so.

All people involved in those conversations denied such actions. Additionally, without any direct evidence -- in particular, without testimony from anyone who claimed to have participated in any endeavor to obstruct the federal investigations – there was simply insufficient evidence or proof of any kind showing anyone committed perjury, made false statements or obstructed the due administration of justice by refusing to provide relevant records.

Accordingly, no criminal prosecutions about this aspect of the Independent Counsel's investigation will be brought. This matter is now closed.

Sherpa women are sturdy and much given to the use of yak butter to enhance their, ah, allure.

He also took John Grisham over William Faulkner. Yeah, people will be flocking to see his birthplace one day.
I don't understand how that's an offensive stereotype. Isn't frugality and financial planning a good thing? And doesn't the letter suggest Jews are good? Do you mean it's offensive because it suggests non-Jews are inferior? Because, I mean.... they just are.
One, it's not necessarily a good stereotype; one man's sound financial planner is another man's skinflint. Anyway, racial stereotypes are always offensive, regardless of whether or not they're "good ones".

Ask a Southeast Asian guy if he likes it when people assume he knows calculus.

Hell yeah!

Hell no!

You have scored 50% on the Republican aptitude test. Your results indicate you are a free-market socialist. There has been a cell designated for your occupation at Guantanamo Bay after the 2012 elections. Don't worry about turning yourself in -- we will know where you are and we will come and get you.

How can they not know? That's the first thing they ask when you go to a doctor. It's also on the card.

That was one long-assed hike!

Just an update. The South Carolina governor, spotted at the airport, told reporters he wanted something exotic so he went to Argentina.
I especially like this bit from his rambling press conference:

He says he's been "workin' through this thing for the last five months" with the help of something called C Street, "a Christian Bible Study" for D.C. Jesus people;
Yet another "Christian" who'd spit on Christ if he had half the chance, but who's more than willing to go all Christiany when he needs to exploit religion.

Another one bites the dust for 2012. We may get Palin/Bachmann yet!

Not to say that some Democrats don't also have problems keeping their parts inside their pants around inappropriate persons, but please don't talk about it in front of a live mike. Especially when you've staked your reputation on being a "family values" candidate. I mean, really -- not just cheating on your wife, but cheating on your mistress, too? I also love how his public "apology" apologizes only for the comments, not for the affairs.

This is completely and utterly not correct. In Spanish, negrita/o is an endearment. If it's interpreted as 'little nigger' than it's the interpreter who is at fault.

I suppose i dont speak spanish then.

Una lastima, la verdad, me pregunto que lenguaje he estado hablando por los ultimos 29 a

That is the Stupid Republican Idea of the Century. Actually, it might just be the Stupid Idea of the Century.

I might write to the DNC and suggest that they pass a resolution redesignating the Republican Party as the Republican Douchebag Party.

That's good, but I move that the DNC rename the Republicans to "Fucking Babies". I believe that MSNBC would technically be obliged to use the new name, and it might spread all over the mainstream media.

"Congressional Democrats today passed sweeping health care reform in spite of the Fucking Babies in congress voting nearly unanimously against the wildly popular bill, claiming that nobody had listened to their ideas."
