Stupid Republican idea of the day

Shows her that you're thinking clearly - you know, hormones have all been exorcised (and exercised! *rimshot*). So she knows you're talking from the bottom of your heart, not the bottom of your shaft.

-Joe

I'm thinking that your idea of a 'rimshot' and his are VERY different.

Eh, it's just another conspiracy theory.

Any evidence thrown at the theory demonstrates that it is, in fact, a true theory as demonstrated by the incredibly believable (yet somehow flawed in a way some yahoo on the Internets can easily spot) evidence produced by the cabal that faked the "evidence".

That's the beauty of a completely bullshit theory. It can't be disproven because anything that proves it is obviously fake. If it's ignored, it's because there's no evidence that can disprove it OR YOU WOULD HAVE ALREADY RELEASED IT YOU RUNNING DOG PAWN OF THE [FILLINTHEBLANKLOUDLYHERE].

Mike Huckabee, (R-Jesusland) :
The 2008 Republican presidential candidate suggested during his radio show, "The Huckabee Report," on Thursday that, under President Obama's health care plan, Kennedy would have been told to "go home to take pain pills and die" during his last year of life.

So in that case, I'll have to rescind my earlier comment that the only thing the government operates well is the military. (Or perhaps I should say it 'functions well,' as it seems to have a very hard time operating at anything but a loss.)

Yeah, it operates at a loss except when it doesn't. Sort of like airlines. But all in all I don't mind the losses the past year or so, as I'd prefer to (eventually) have to subsidize the usps when it runs out of money (which it hasn't yet) than to continue to receive junk mail (which I did until last year, even though I was and am on the no junk mail list,) even if junk mail did let the USPS operate at a profit for much of the recent past. (It clogs up my mailbox)

Lordy knows, I'm an Obamabot, but damn, what is he thinking to want this bimbo anywhere near his administration? She's obviously not grateful.
I keep telling myself that he's a better Democrat than Bill Clinton.
That's not saying a lot, but Obama hasn't proved me wrong yet.

Dio claimed that without evidence the presumption was toward innocence, and I merely used the opinion of so many like you (and him) around here with regard to Bush to show that such a presumption is hardly de rigueur around here. :)
Uh uh. Just a simple question: Did Bush said that he was going to get a second UN resolution, no matter what? Did he told us the truth?

According to Bill Kristol (R - Never Right), the idea of due process is stupid:

Given that private health insurers seem to be doing okay in the UK where universal health care is free, somehow I doubt they'll all be instantly ruined in the US.

I reach that, brother!

Obviously, a man who is a fan of this "Science Fictional Entertainment" can't be counted on to maintain his grip on reality. Next thing you know he'll be playing Dragons and Dungeons and summoning demons in the White House*.

-Joe

*Unless he IS actually from Hell, as some have speculated, in which case that would probably be redundant.

Not to be out-stupided, Sarah Palin gives her deep thoughts on trials for alleged terrorists:

Stupid Republican Meme of the Day

(which others will probably pick up once they stop whining about Wanda Sykes)

Started by duly elected loonball Pete "We could learn a lot from the Taliban insurgency!" Sessions:

Sessions told the Times that Obama's plan is to "diminish employment and diminish stock prices." By doing so, Obama "intended to inflict damage and hardship on the free enterprise system, if not to kill it" as part of a "divide and conquer" strategy to consolidate power.

And now picked up by the Leader of the Republican Party himself, Rush Limbaugh:

LIMBAUGH: As the economy performs worse than expected, the deficit for the 2010 budget year beginning in October will worsen by $87 billion to $1.3 trillion. The deterioration reflects lower tax revenues and higher costs for bank failures, unemployment benefits and food stamps. But in the Oval Office of the White House none of this is a problem. This is the objective. The objective is unemployment. The objective is more food stamp benefits. The objective is more unemployment benefits. The objective is an expanding welfare state. And the objective is to take the nation’s wealth and return to it to the nation’s quote, “rightful owners.” Think reparations. Think forced reparations here if you want to understand what actually is going on.
So, it's all a Grand Plan by President Obama! Plunge the country into Darkness, give all the white people's money to the blacks, then Take Over (for life, I assume)! Brilliant!

Koo koo Koo koo Koo koo.

It's nice to know I was wrong about the Star Trek screening though. Damn, I bet RedState is mad they couldn't get that one going.

They've proven themselves not worthy by losing to Obama and now deserve to be destroyed?

-Joe
Destroying them implies outside powers are at work. What's happening is really a form of suicide.

I would have thought the religious right would be against suicide, but since they are leading the charge into the party grave, I was apparently wrong about that.

Does this count as an idea? South Carolina Governor takes a hike.

He's gone 4 days before he thinks to tell anybody he was planning to leave. He didn't even tell his wife. Previous stories indicated he was a little miffed at being court ordered to accept stimulus money and having all of his signed bills vetoed. Could this be a part of the GOP's new strategy of Taking Their Ball and Going Home?

And yet another racist e-mail from a GOP elected official's office makes the rounds (with your standard "Oops! Sent it to the wrong people!" excuse)
