look man- i'm sorry that you didn't like my answer, but you sent me a pm titled "question" and didn't even include any information pertinent to answering your question...if you look at the quote i posted above, then you can see that i would have had to type you a how-to for soft resetting every phone that can be soft reset...
the thing is that you can easily google this answer for any device...asking me and then not even taking the time to tell me what pone you are using is, to me, just way to damn lazy...
i would rather come on here and bust your balls than to keep answering these type of questions...
i too often get the, "i need to flash my xyz. my email is [email protected]"...i am now just going to post those here so that we can all get a laugh and maybe discourage this kinda stuff from continuing...

we couldn't do it without you guys...for that i am going to repay you with a how to flash any phone guide...

ok- all you have to do is walk quietly up to the phone and quickly open your coat...don't forget that it is better to flash it with no underwear on...
please remeraber that we are not responsible for any damage caused by flashing including but not limited to being arrested if you flash your phone in a school zone...

ok- i had to be fair...i just saw an old thread revived and realized that someone was offering to help me via pm...it was from my very first post back in august '07...i guess it's kewl because this guy was the first one offering to help me...and he has like 9 posts, how funny is that...
so without further delay, here is the durabest **** i have ever asked:
i don't know if i should mention that this was posted in a sprint phones to cricket thread...
let's not forget that i was ignored and even roasted a couple of times when i first got here...hell, i was even banned once for noob flooding the same question on like 500 threaRAB...
the point is that if a noob gets stepped on and they're serious about this stuff, then they'll eventually make mafia status...if they just get their feelings hurt and cry about how mean we all are, then they will probably just go home and change their tampon before sobbing into their pillow...
i hope this can be a lesson for all of us...
btw- my sig carried a gigantic, bright orange "NOOB" tag fro a long time even after i got mafia status...please believe it.

Here's the bottom line, folks--if you can't search the forums correctly, you don't deserve and aren't qualified to flash phones. It's as simple as that.
It may sound mean, but everyone here started as a noob at some point, and the senior merabers are simply fed-up with people not taking the time to search. Like BadUtahBoy said: You can tell those who've done their research from those that haven't even bothered to use the search tool.
And if you think we're cruel here, don't even bother with other more tech-savvy sites like m-f.com: You will get your *** handed to you there. There is very low tolerance for noobs in other forums I've been in. Hell, I've been roasted several times, but I don't take it personally.

I am a noob even though I have managed to flash a few D900's. I came on this forum for help and got very good advice from a few people and by looking in Mod D900 & Tips & Tricks.
I now want to learn if I can use my D900 flash cable to flash my G600 (I have posted elsewhere). ANY HELP HERE?
My point is one says that if you can't SEARCH & READ then you can't flash a phone, I think that is unfair, with the right help (which I obviously had from here and needed to clarify some matters before I went ahead) it can be done but I wouldn't think to put 'programming' in my search or 'evdo pvl' (or whatever that was - sorry forgot) so maybe I'm not search savvy. I searched for G600 and get various results but not the answer I am looking for necessarily but do learn something else which is great but does this make me an idiot - maybe? When I post a question I do try to make my question SIMPLE (so not to bore you people with where I have searched) so I get a SIMPLE answer.
After learning from you fantastic people I am now able to help others (which satisfies me immensely) and try to point them in the right directions.
Having said all that, there are some 'silly' questions on here where the answer is literally above their question.
I do wish people who start a new post would put a meaningful title.

let's keep that question in that other thread
all you have to do is find the right thread an post there...any thread related to what you are asking will probably get you some usable response...it's the peeps that ask about a mogul in a samsung thread, or that pm asking questions about a device and never specify what device they are talking about that get burned...
i think that we make this clear when we blast them...we say exactly why the question is stupid...or if they are too lazy and obviously have not searched, then we just say search or just don't respond...
