hey guys i recently signed up for newhosting and ive been dling stuff its great. But when i look at my network monitor i see that bandwidth is going in and out. Im not running any other p2p programs or anything, so whats being uploaded? So, Usenet is download only right? Its not like BT where u need to keep uploading and stuff. I know its a dumb question but someone answer please.

Your computer has to send acknowledgements as it downloads saying "got that, send more" or "missed a bit,send it again".
It is normal to see some upstream traffic while surfing the web or downloading from newsgroups.
