Alright. I'm very pissed off right now. It's rant time.
I just got the complete Rockman Zero Remastered tracks Cds for all four games, with the Complete game works, and Rockman ZX albums, both remastered and original works.
Okay. Logic would dictate that these albums would be separated by album, artist, and track number. The Remastered albums would bear some resemblance in name, considering they are called almost the same fucking thing!
We have 'Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero' 1 through 4. Should be easy to name, but none of them were named anything even close to each other! Two of the artists are 'Inticreates', which is the name of the company that made the games, one artist is "capcom", and one is "III', which is apparently shared with all of the game works!
What The Fuck, Over?! It's not difficult to name these albums right, their names are almost fucking identical! At least get the artists consistant!
Plus, several of the songs are missing out of one ZX album (nevermind There are three album that are named the same fucking thing, even though two are remastered and one seems to be an unofficial album.) those missing songs were in another album entirely, and all of the original works albums are all fuckered up.
If you are going to be the only source for a group of albums, no matter whether it is the complete Rockman Zero works, or something more mainstream like, I don't know, Led Zeppelin, Marilyn Manson, or whatever it is you listen to, then follow these steps:
1.) Use the same artist for each album.
2.) Use the same format for album names
3.) Follow the track numbers that are on the back of the fucking albums.
4.) If you are going to make your own album, tell us so we don't go fucking around with your oh-so-brilliant convention of putting in random names for artists and album!
I spent the last hour trying to fix this fuckface's mistakes. I'm anal about my music. I know that. It's much easier to navigate 5000 songs if they follow a common-sense convention with naming. It's not hard!
As long as the names are common sense, like 'artist-album-track.wtf' or 'album-artist-track-1.wtf' I can work with that. That's not really important. What IS important is that you are consistant with using the ID3 Tags correctly. That's why they exist, so stupid fucks can fill in the blanks.
alright. I'm sure I'm going to get flamed for posting about this. So take an album you listen to and rename half of the artists to random things, fuck up the track numbers, and add in a few Britney Spears songs and you'll see why I'm pissed off.
