I do plan on having kids and I do plan on disciplining them. It drives me nuts when someone else's kids are running a muck. I used to work in retail and my #1 pet peeve was unsupervised children running around. Thankfully the store was privately owned (pet store) and they made it so you had to be atleast 18 to come in by yourself. The worst part is when the parents look at you like your the jerk speaking negatively of their "little angels".

When you have kids, read this post again. First, my kids are disciplined, they are not spoiled, but kids love--and I mean love--to run and hide in the store racks. Yes it is embarassing, and yes they get in trouble for it, but kids do that kind of stuff. Just because you discipline your children does not mean they won't fuck up again. Discipline is a continouos learning process for both the parent and child. Lessons have to be repeated all the time.
