My mom recently brought home a couple of aquatic plants and put them in the windowsill right behind the TV where the cats like to sit. I told her it was a bad place for them, she disregarded my warning. One of the cats knocked over one of the plants, getting water in the TV. I unplugged the TV overnight, told her, she continued to disregard the situation. It happened again. I moved the plants. The TV still works, but is now making an annoying electronic whine while it's on. Is there a way to fix this?
