Stuff that The Simpsons haven't done

Might as well spit out one of my infamous non-sequitors. (they've done everything, so..)

They never did an episode where Bart Simpson turns into Cookie Monster, while Homer sells the kitchen stove to buy a solid gold ice cube to send to the Pope. With the Subplot of Marge's hair perminantly getting stuck in the shape of the number 6, and Lisa eating her saxaphone while tiny little Maggie Heads fly out the window.

I could get a lot sillier than that. I'm just tired right now.
 
Hmm...

Have they been to Indiana yet? Lots of plot points there involving... corn. And the Indy 500. And Homer giggling at the towns of "French Lick" and "Gas City." Or something...

Well, I can think of one thing: they haven't had Bart create a machine to remove the cherries from chocolate-covered cherries and replace them with old mayonnaise yet. ;-)

They've been to the zoo several times though. Good idea though.

One where Springfield falls under a nuclear holocaust would be a neat episode -- let's not make it Homer's fault this time, though. Let's face it -- whenever something major happens, it usually involves something he did or will do.

That episode, the power plant explodes after some numerical mixups -- and the entire town has to face it by escaping so the government could get there for cleanup. There could be emotional parts -- Homer and Marge worried about a kid in danger, Lisa and Bart bonding over something, Lenny and Carl strengthening their friendship by fighting a mutant fish... but there can be funny parts too. But the problem is, an episode with this premise has to be directed very tightly. While they did wonders on the movie and are now moving all of that effort back to the series (19 has been great so far) I'm worried what might happen if they did do this.
 
Now I know that The Simpsons have presidents portrayed in various episodes like "The Two Bad Neighbors". They should try to do an episode that involves the guest starring of a former president of the United States like George W. in a few years, Bill, George H.W. (probably not because his remarks towards The Simpsons), or Carter.

Another episode they could consider is having Mr. Burns go to his alumni reunion of his graduating year find out everyone has passed away and creates his own reunion of famous Yalers to guest star (i.e. Sam Waterston, Bronson Pinchot, Jodie Foster, Paul Giamatti, etc.) in the show with Homer given an invitation by accident or Mr. Burns having his Super Sweet 116th Birthday Party.
