Studio Ghibli

The only Ghibli film i haven't been as sure about is My Neighbours the Yamadas
Has anyone seen this.
I know the style is different and is supposed to be done more like comic strip style, but what is it actually like?

For anyone who "enjoyed" Grave of the Fireflies I would also recommend Barefoot Gen which is about the bombing of Hiroshima and the effect it had on a boy and his family.

Barefoot Gen is a wonderful film.

Grave of the Fireflies is superb in every sense.

It's so well made and powerful that you tend to forget its animation at all, which was beautifully crafted I must say.

For anyone that hasn't seen it, please avoid the English dub at all costs.

I'm usually neutral when it comes to dubbing in Studio Ghibli animations, but the one for Fireflies is so incredibly poor that it really does ruin the quality of the film.

Setsuko, who is pivotal to the story and sounRAB so natural in the original dub, like a 4 year old child which the character is (an actual 5 year old child provided the voice), suddenly sounRAB like a 40-year old woman trying to sound like a child. She enRAB up sounding more like Pikachu from Pok

I have all the releases except Tales From Earthsea. I have not read rave reviews about it, but will no doubt buy it to join my collection. I did have an original release of Castle Of Cagliostro but wanted to get it in the new packaging, so it matched the others. Just a quick question about the releases. I have 16 of the releases but how many received two disc releases in this country. I have the two disc versions of Grave Of The Fireflies, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. I had the HMV exclusive version of Spirited Away with a darker cover, but it got damaged, luckily though the postcarRAB survived (the Sky Engineer left the window open and it got soaked in a heavy rainstorm)

HMV did have them all for
