We caught this season when film4 was having a special offer - now it's free so much the better!

I loved My Neighbor Totoro but I missed the 1st 20 minutes or so, I can't wait :)

I also saw Laputa when I was little, and I just caught the end of that too - it brought back memories I never knew I had.

OMG, that's awesome! I'd watch every one :)

But why, why so early? I'll still be in work/travelling for the first half of every film :(

Hope they get repeated later on too.

Film Four have nothing else to put on during the afternoon except really old stuff, so this is a good thing. There's a few there that I haven't seen yet... will make sure to add them to my Tivo.

and remember folks, for those of you that work, you may have more of a chance of seeing some of them if you go to FilmFour+1.

An hour delay certainly helps me get back home in time for some of 'em.

I've been a huge Anime fan for quite some time now & im glad that there is now Some Anime making it onto UK television. Wolf's Rain & Mezzo RABA are also been shown on Rapture Tuesday & Thursday's.

I miss the days when an Anime used to be on Sci-Fi every week

If you consider getting a real satellite system at some point, there are plenty of channels on Spanish and French broadcasts that are purely Asian animation offerings. You do have to be selective as there is quite of crap, but it is amazing to see just how big the industry actually is.

I do have an 80cm dish & a Skystar 2 DVB PC card. I mainly use it to watch Formula 1 Practice sessions. I know there are a few encrypted channels i can't get, I have seen a few Anime shows on FTA German TV.

Could you possibly tell me what other stations show Anime shows?

If you can move the dish to 30W then you could conceivably receive the programmes on Mediaset, which will give you at least four film channels and one dedicated animation channel.
Subscription on 13 East is also available for French TV from ABSat

I have just stumbled across this site which says that the repeat showings of each film are the original language versions but with subtitles.

What i also never noticed before is that 'Grave of the Fireflies' is being shown Saturday and Monday too, both showings subtitled by the look of it. Seems strange that film4 would show both subtitled when there is an English dubbed version available.

I really want to watch these films but at the moment i cant concentrate on subtitles, usually I am quite purist in that I will try to watch a film with the original actor voices with the subtitles, but at the moment i just really cant keep up the concentration for reading it. Its a shame as i feel like im missing out on some good films, wheres the english dub :(

Film4 are showing 'The Cat Returns' on Sunday 3rd September at 3pm, repeated on Thursday the 7th at the same time.

'Princess Mononoke' is also being shown again on Friday 8th September at 6.25pm.

Not sure if they're the dubbed or subtitled versions though.
