I am currently enrolled at UCI as second year student. I came to UCI for there strong Biology program because origionally I planned on pursueing medicine. My plans have drastically changed as I have decided to become a studio art major. I enjoy living in the Irvine/Newport Beach area but Los Angelos is where i strive to be and where i plan on living after college. I feel LA has much more job opportunities for my field of study (advertising, digital media, and graphic design) and really hope to get an internship there soon to start getting work experience. With that being said, I am wondering if anyone knows if transferring to LMU would be a better choice so that i can study art there and intern at the same time, starting early as possible on my career, or if staying and getting an art degree from UCI would be better?
