My godmother is buying a house and would like to put the home ownership under her name and mine. She, legally, is not related to me at all. How will that affect my financial aid?
I am 19 years old and is still considered a dependent. Will what my godmother will be doing affect my financial aid.
I remember i read something online before that if my parents do not make more than 50K a year, the dependent's assets will not be accounted for in the financial aid. i that true?
