Stuck!

I've had my Droid for a few months with hardly any problems. Last night I noticed some of my apps were freezing up a little so I decided to turn off my phone in hopes that re-booting would help.

However, when I turned it off, it has been stuck on the screen with the red dot pulsating. It has been stuck like this for 12 hours and I don't know what to do. I have tried holding down the power button, ect.

PLEASE HELP!

Yep - try pulling the battery out and leaving the phone for a minute before putting it back in.

If you still can't boot your phone, try holding down Menu while you press the power button to turn the phone on. Keep Menu pressed down until your home screen appears. This boots the phone in "safe mode" and stops any apps running.

It may be just a simple case of running low of memory. If you get back in the phone go to Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications and go click on some of the bigger apps (any over 1mb) and clear the cache if it's available (there's a button to do that).

If it still can't boot, then it's probably a hardware problem. You should return it.
