I have a 2007 Toyota Camry V6 with around 42K miles on it- still quite new. I do not beat on my car- and it's driven under normal traffic conditions- about half highway, half city roads. About 8 months ago, my husband, a mechanic, replaced my tires, and briefly inspected the struts, and found no problems. Then, about a month ago, when he replaced my brakes, he found all 4 struts were leaking. Has anyone else had this problem?
Unfortunately, my car is beyond the warranty, and when Toyota took a look at it, to see if they would "goodwill" it- they said they would not, as we were not "loyal Toyota owners" (ie. we did not have the car serviced at THEIR dealerships... for $90/hr, and did not finance the car through them... for a non-competitive rate). I find this absolutely ridiculous, and I used to be a real cheerleader for Toyota vehicles.
