Wax pencil and all by hand, done in an hour. $80 bucks total for the fairing only, front fender was $75, tank and rear fender $150. For me a lot cheaper than custom paint and gives it some flash. Thanks

Thanks for the respose, I kinda decided to order the 7 inch.Shame it only comes gradiant in all but 5 inch. did you try to use the oe shield now you changed the mounts?

Hey Phat96, that bike of yours looks great! But whatever you do, DO NOT RIDE it up here to Montana. You'll grind those bags off in a couple of hours. The twisties in the canyons up here don't allow you extend the bags that far. In fact, I'm grinding my right floor board bracket, and the kick stand on the left. But it sure looks good! Enjoy, and once again, I really like the pinstripes.

Big Sky, I was planning on visiting, not really, I have a 4 year old and a 10 month old. But I can fantasize about Montana, I really want to flyfish and hunt there and ride, maybe a rental. Someday someday.
Glad you like my bike, I'm pretty jazzed about it too.

Hey Phat96, the pin-striping on your fairing looks totally cool. Wow, I really do like that. It's great how it personalizes your ride, making it a one-of-a-kind. Great job!!

Your bike is awesome. I'd love to do mine up like yours. After seeing the detachable fairing on the Road Kings I can't imagine buying an Ultra. Seriously wicked ride though.

You guys are the best, glad you like it. To me the easiest thing is to have the bike striped, do a search in your area with the style you like and go for it. I chose the colors on the tank logo to go by.

phat, looks great. thanks for all the info. i think i am going to try the long view shields. the price is about the same. they make a 6" black with a recurve to the shield. i will have to drill the holes i guess. do you have a picture of the shield not on the bike? i really liked the look of that recurve as well. i plan to order tomorrow if i get time.

I've been looking at both the Memphis Shades and the Bob Dron fairings and I really like the sporty low look of the Dron, did it give you as much protection as a standard windshield and do you have any pics of your bike with it on?

Thanks,
superdave

Well we have fly fishing, and twisties here in Utah too, and we are only a state away
Not a real fan of flames, but yours look cool!!!
I have a question for you, in your sig you tell us your bike is/was a 96, but then tells us it is sold, what am I missing?
Thanks
Terry
