Has anyone seen this film before?

It such a classic!!! I decided to watch it last night again and it never gets boring.

Its sooo hilarious yet fantastic and slick.

i LOVE this film, and i mean i LOVE this film. when he slides onto the dance floor for the final pasadoble (sp) mt heart is in my mouth, its a great mindless feelgood film that hurts and offenRAB no one.

Brilliant film!! Catch phrase in our family is - "What's wrong with the way I dance?" said with an Aussie accent of course.

I couldnt believe it when i read that the mum died before the film premiered of cancer. Also Liz (the screaming girl) is Nikki in My Big Fat Greek Wedding....how weird!! lol

You're absolutely right. All those flashbacks about his father's past freaked me out a bit.

I find it's one of those films I have to be in just the right mood to watch. It's never made it into my DVD collection, but if it's on cable and nothing else conflicts, I can get completely lost in it.

The music, makeup, wardrobe and choreography, not to mention the script, are totally OTT and ridiculous, but somehow it works fabulously. When I find myself watching it, I'm smiling all the way through.

I only saw it for the 1st time a couple of months ago but it's really good. I like Baz Luhrman's style of direction.
