Hello there! I used to have very oily skin but luckily it's pretty normal now after being on the birth control pill and getting a little older. My skin has been pretty easy to deal with but lately I have been getting deep, painful pimples on random spots of my face that take forever to go away. I am thinking these are from stress or hormones. Some take over a month to go away, some a few weeks or so. They are deep and not the kind you can pop and eventually surface. Some are painful. I currently have one on the side of the bridge of my nose but not ON the bridge and one on my left cheek.
Right now I'm using Clean & Clear products for my face from the Acne Advantage line. Is there anything else that would work better for this? I use oil free products and makeup on my skin and don't touch my face a lot. I'm not sure what else to do or how to speed up the healing process! I am a college student so I can't buy anything too expensive. I was thinking of trying Proactive but would need to purchase a moisturizer in addition to use because my skin gets dry without one, so hopefully it won't cost too much.
