there are a few places on Ebay that will do a "chrome exchange" seems pretty economical....and you can use same tires... don't know where you are but might be a good project for winter down time...

i had mine painted the color of the bike. i know this isn't the suggested thing to do with them but it worked wonders for me.

Just bought a set of Chromed wheels on exchange from Impress Plating, my old wheels are off and having the tires mounted and balanced on the new chrome wheels tomorrow. Can't wait for tomorow morning..
