Street Glide Front Forks

I have a 2008 Harley Street Glide with stock front forks, personally I think they are terrible. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good fork kit replacement that would give me a nice ride. Known fixes highly appreciated.

Get the Progressive mono tube cartridge kit, and add some chrome lowers while you are at it. This should improve things vastly.

You don't say what you don't like about your stock forks, so it's difficult to give you good advice. I felt the front end on my '09 Ultra was too mushy so I upgraded to HD Heavy fork oil. I found it to be a substantial benefit in handling. A little firmer on the road in general but much reduced dive under braking.
 
Good point....very harsh when I hit bumps, doesn't seem to have much dampening. I thought Ultra's have air assisted front forks, no air on mine. I think it just needs a good progressive shock or something. Maybe a heavier fork oil like you suggested, but I'm thinking it needs more than that.
 
go to race tec imulators. They will make your fork behave the way you want.
There kit comes with Imulators and springs and the drill you need to redill the damping rods.
